Meet Dr. Mitchell VanHoose

Dr. VanHoose is from a small town in Eastern Kentucky, but he moved to Delaware, OH at the age of 14. He is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, where he not only earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology, but his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, too. Before taking over at Upper Sandusky Dental, Dr. VanHoose provided dental care to the underserved at the Muskingum Valley Health Center in Zanesville, OH. He and his wife, Doreen, met in 2004 and were high school sweethearts. He loves Upper Sandusky because it reminds him of the small town where he grew up. In his free time, Dr. VanHoose enjoys golfing, fishing, and watching all types of sports.

Ruth is originally from Upper Sandusky and now lives in Tiffin. When she’s not in the office, she likes quilting, crocheting, painting, and spending time with her grandkids.

Sarah grew up in Bluffton Ohio, but has lived in the Carey area for several years now with her fiance and three daughters. She has an Administrative degree and has been helping at our front desk since the beginning of 2018. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and keeping up with her children's many sports and activities.

Dental Assistant

Payton was born and raised in Upper. She has been a dental assistant at the office for over 10 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband.
